Dan's Story
Many years ago, Dan Holland was tucking in his daughter Callie, who was about seven or eight years old at the time. He wanted to explain to her, in no uncertain terms, just how much he loved her. He was searching for the right words and it just came out of nowhere: "I love you infinity forever."
"Infinity" is how much. "Forever" is how long. Callie was a little confused by that. And so the book was born — to explain to our kids, in no uncertain terms, how deep and how wide that love really is.
The book also carries the memory of Dan's mother, who passed away unexpectedly. She modeled through her life — through words and through action — the most important things. She was everybody's best friend because she was so loving and caring, and she showed Dan what it means to be a good parent.
Dan's father told him on the phone one day: "Your mom is so proud of you. You have become the man that she always knew you could become."
Infinity Forever is the first in a trilogy. Faith, family, and friends — this is the family part of the equation. Two more books are on the way.
When Dan finished writing the book, his wife Lindsay put it simply: "Why would this just be for our kids? You should be sharing this with other people."
And so here it is — a book Dan dreams of seeing on every kid's bookshelf in America.
